Title vs. Headline
Downloads currently populate the Title field with the Headline information. Would be much better if this was labeled Headline and the actual Title from the most current position was provided. Headlines often include nonsense or non-title information (e.g., guru of blah blah blah). In other cases they include the title but with additional information (e.g., VP at COMPANY). This causes quite a bit of post download processing to strip out the non-title information. Would be far better to put Title into the Title field and if Headline information is desired, make it a separate field.

gilesdux AdminApologies for the delay in replying. As you say, the Title is available in the extended information that you can download, and we just match the data we can get out of LinkedIn. Many people use 'headline' as their job title, but it is also used in other ways. If you download the extended data, you can see the current position (when I did it just now into a CSV file, it was in column BZ (due to the number of column taken up by skills). The limitation here is that the title data is contained in the extended data, and not in the basic data from LI.
