Dreamworks MergedIt would be great to be able to execute the actions of duxsoup: visit, connect, send message without needing the web browser. Thus we could fully automate those processes.

A User MergedYou host the Dux Turbo session over a browser, I connect via Webhook and screen share.
I could even provide an id, but preferably not. -

David Barton MergedThere are likely to be issues with shared IP addresses? Why not provide an AMI for people to launch on AWS instead?

David DucciniHaving built CrowdBuilder.works, a cloud-based system leveraging the Dux-Soup Turbo Agency model and testing a variety of real and virtual machine implementations including everything from old laptops to new chromebooks and even running virtual desktops internally and buying windows servers in the cloud to test scaling I have a number of observations I can share...
The primary one is this: Microsoft/LinkedIN can totally detect if your account is ACTIVE on multiple IP addresses and they will start throwing "Proof of Human" tests at you and quickly -- including logging you out of ALL devices including mobile. You can mitigate this if you commit to using a VPN and ALL your devices connect through it so that your traffic shows up as just ONE IP address. Now each browser of course gets its own cookie so they can still detect the number of devices potentially if they care, which they do not seem to so far as long as you run the robot in the slowest-configuration possible.

David Duccini MergedOur recommendation lately is to just go get a cheap chromebook, plug it in and let it run. Way cheaper and more useful than what you'd likely spend on cloud hosting services and you can watch it work!

David Duccini MergedI will add that recently we have begun experimenting with Selenium in Python and it can be run "headless" so there may be some opportunity to have this "run in the background" but honestly it is super helpful being able to observe the robot operate AND especially LinkedIN's response
